HOW IT ALL BEGAN
The story started with the desire to create something that conveyed the relationship between siblings even though it’s not a straightforward view into it. La’Vata’s inspirations were her siblings and her deep love and admiration for them. They continue to inspire her to this day.

Some of the ideas for the artifacts were purely out of necessity, as most stories need certain working items or tools to make something happen. Some of the items were thought up later because La’Vata wanted the story to connect to another one of her magical worlds. And this story is now a Lore in it.

The locations in the story grew as La’Vata wrote out the outline and some of the characters. She finds them exciting because creating the environments and structures says a lot about this magical world and its inhabitants. It’s the aspect of jumping into another world, and that’s exciting to explore!
